Materials Distribution, Field Support Technician The Field Support Materials Distribution Technician (MDT) is assigned to an internal resource pool which provides replacement and/or short-term coverage in place of other Materials Distribution Technicians who are out of work. The Field Support MDT will be assigned to a specific location but will be scheduled to support multiple services, job functions, and shifts as needed (receiving, inventory, supply management, equipment processing, and/or other duties as assigned).  

This position is responsible for the cleaning and processing of reusable pumps and durable medical equipment. The cleaning and processing of equipment includes all medical infusion and feeding pumps, bili-blankets, dialysis machines, commodes, shower chairs, and other equipment as directed by the Materials Distribution Management Leadership.  

The role of the Inventory Control Specialist I is to ensure that product is available for sale, to increase the turnover of dead and special-ordered product and identify and correct the reasons for inventory problems.

Act as the first point of contact for outside visitors, vendors, etc. Greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors. May arrange for transportation services when needed. Operates a switchboard typically to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls; performs related duties as required.  

Under direct supervision, the Field Support Representative (FSR) is assigned to a temporary in-house talent pool which provides replacement and/or short-term administrative services in place of Office Service Reps (and others) who are out of the office.  The FSR will be assigned a home location but will be scheduled to visit other client sites within the region to provide multiple disciplines (fax, print, mail, reception and other duties, as assigned). The Inventory Technician processes requests, pulling, and delivering of stock items to ordering departments. Also responsible for receiving and delivering special orders item(s) to the appropriate departments.

Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for picking, packing, and all physical & system material movements which support the warehouse activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, FIFO inventory movements, processing shipments, locating inbound materials, cycle counting and all system corresponding transactions. All activities supports annual targets in line with business Order fill, Case fill, Inventory accuracy, Gross Sales Volume and Manufacturing production requirements. Material Handlers will also be accountable for the accuracy of material financial system integrity.

The Switchboard Operator handles a high volume of callers for an assigned site, answering the line and connecting the caller to the correct person or department.
