    The Mass Mail/MCO Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day processing of MCOs and assisting in completing mass mail jobs. Prepares completed print materials for shipment including various fulfilment tasks including hand collating and inserting materials into envelopes, applying labels, and processing postage.  The Mass Mail/MCO Coordinator ensures that work is properly planned and distributed, production is achieved according to schedule, quality standards are met, efficient work procedures are followed, and good relations with other departments and customers are maintained.


    Responsibilities and Duties


    • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects CBPS and the client’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.
    • Prioritize jobs and request, when necessary; work directly with the Print Production Manager to reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
    • Perform data entry.
    • Communicate effectively with the Print Production Manager, informing and providing updates regularly to guarantee that overall production and customer objectives are met.
    • Ensure all CBPS and client policies & procedures are followed by all employees.
    • Meet all goals assigned by Print Production Manager.
    • Assist the Print Production Manager by updating procedure manuals, desktop procedures, and process maps.
    • Ensure all required volume metrics, key performance indicators, and statistical data is recorded accurately and on-time.



    • Ensure Mass Maill/MCO serves level agreements are reached.  
    • Monitor quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all Mass Mail jobs and MCO processing to ensure customer commitments are met through production.
    • Communicate and work directly with customers as necessary to resolve issues or problems.
    • Communicate all customer concerns, issues, or production delays to the Print Production Manager.
    • Ensure the completion of all duties with a minimum of waste.


    • Ensure a positive, clean, and safe work environment for employees.
    • Conduct training for new employees and to meet cross-training goals.
    • Attend and complete all required CBPS training courses.

    Equipment and Supplies

    • Ensure preventative maintenance compliance for all mass mail equipment.
    • Inform the Print Production Manager of equipment problems.
    • Ensure that inventories are conducted per client policy and accurate records are maintained.


    • High school diploma or GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.
    • Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced envirment.
    • Knowledge of USPS and FedEx and operating postage machine or related mail equipment.
    • Ability to perform all mass mail functions when necessary.

    Working Conditions

    • Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day.
    • Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. and noise level is usually moderate to loud.
    • Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
