Responsibilities: Internal / External messenger dispatching using vendor's online system. Receiving packages and keep log for accountability. Process internal page calls.
|KNOWLEDGE||Full knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with|
|and understanding of general aspects of the job with a|
|broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.|
|EQUIPMENT||Good knowledge of how to use dispatcher radios, pagers,|
|PROFICIENCY||2-way cell phones for constant communication with|
|messenger. Use of internet to access alternative routes|
|when there are traffic jams or accidents.|
|SUPERVISION||General supervision and instructions given for routine|
|RECEIVED||work and detailed instructions given for new activities|
|or special assignments.|
|EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE||High school Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 yrs experience|
|working directly in as a dispatcher plus 1-2 yrs in a|
|BASIC SKILLS||Excellent customer service, professional attiude and|
|appearance is a must. Ability to work overtime & meet|
|deadlines. Ability to follow directives. Possess strong|
|oral communication skills.|
