The BPO Solution Engineer is a key role within the growing Professional Services Group, working under the direction of the BPO Director to successfully develop new business opportunities for Canon Business Process Services, CBPS. CBPS’ BPO Division is a national team working in a key growth area for the company across a large number of clients in a variety of industries. Their focus is to advance CBPS’s solution offerings while helping clients transform their business by outsourcing their non-core services. Working with Sales, Operations and Clients, this position is required to assist in the review of new or expanding business opportunities in a collaborative fashion to further the sales and operational goals of the company. The Solution Engineer will be primarily responsible for all requirements gathering, analyses of business processes, and the end to end design and pricing of solutions. They will also work with other key team and client representatives to implement their solutions.
What you will do:
§ Support Sales and Ops in expanding business opportunities by contributing to sales initiatives through kick-off meetings, project team meetings, client needs assessments, conference calls, client presentations and client follow up meetings as necessary
§ Work closely with clients to translate business needs into outsourcing solutions utilizing CBPS’ tools, platforms and partners
§ Conduct requirements gathering at prospective and existing client sites to understand the client’s current business processes
§ Conduct analysis to determine Return of Investment (ROI) or Cost/Benefit analysis to support proposals or business cases
§ Design outsourced solutions which include People, Process and Technology to meet the client’s needs
§ Work with the Pricing Department and preferred Vendors to accurately detail all costs for each project in a responsible manner before preparing pro-formas to outline these services and costs
§ Set client visions with the Sales team by creating proposals, business cases and presentations that accurately and professionally describes the CBPS solution for new or existing clients
§ Create detailed Statements Of Work (SOW) to support outsourcing solutions that have been proposed
§ Supervise and assist with implementation projects at client sites (as required) for the duration of the project in order to support the Implementation Team.
§ Required: College Degree
§ Preferable: Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) , CDIA+, Accounts Payable Specialist Certified (APSC)
§ 5 years of progressively responsible Imaging, Advanced Document Services, Managed/Outsourcing Services or supporting Solution Selling
§ Hands on experience in leading analysis and design of Outsourced Solutions
§ Knowledge and hands on experience with manual/automated records/imaging management systems and emerging technology
§ Various industry sector experience, AP / S2P experience is a must
§ Experience in training staff to operate software products, to deploy imaging or records programs, and to implement solutions effectively
§ Should possess a technical curious mindset
§ Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
§ Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
§ Proficient with Microsoft Project and Visio, Workfront Project Management is a plus
§ Strategic thinker and results oriented
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§ Ability to execute and deliver the highest quality and production
§ A self-starter – proactive when working remotely to achieve project milestones and deadlines
§ The ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete deliverables in an accurate and timely manner
§ The ability to work with different team members in a respectful and inclusive manner to deliver timely and complete proposals to the client.
