Overview

Plans and directs human resources programs relating to global compensation and benefits including policies, objectives and initiatives, and the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of these programs. Plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s human resources information system. Develops implements and maintains the human resources information system to meet organizational needs and objectives. Assures that company compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the philosophy, business strategy, research, design, communication and overall management of the organization’s compensation and benefits
  • Provide advice and counsel to Sales and RFP team regarding prospective client compensation and benefit issues such as SCA wage and fringe rates; client installation issues such as benefit waiting periods, 401k loans, grandfathering of PTO time
  • Develop and provide training to Operations and Sales regarding various topics such as off cycle increase policies and procedures, FLSA regulations
  • Provide side by side benefit comparisons between our benefits and client benefits to assist with implementation or acquisition of new
  • Monitor all off cycle increases to ensure that current policies and procedures and budgets are strictly adhered
  • Monitor and prepare various financial reports for President of
  • Develops implements and maintains HRIS system to meet the organization’s needs and objectives. Researches, evaluates, tests and selects the necessary hardware and software needed to achieve the goals of the
  • Responsible for directing the company’s leave and workers’ compensation programs. Establishes standards and procedures for all matters in relation to leaves and workers’
  • Responsible for ensuring programs meet employees’ needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost
  • Develops specifications for new compensation and benefit plans or modifies existing plans to maintain company’s competitive position in labor market. Reviews industry and competitor compensation and benefit data to determine company’s competitive
  • Negotiates benefit contracts, obtains competitive quotes from insurance carriers, and manages the benefit renewal Evaluates and designs new corporate benefit plans and programs.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations to revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Recommends and advises on global benefit enhancements and
  • Directs global CBPS Benefits Open Enrollment process and Benefit Education
  • Assures company compliance with all regulations concerning group health and welfare and compensation programs. Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and compensation, and reports necessary or suggested changes. Ensures prompt and accurate compliance of all federal, state and local laws and
  • Acts as an adviser to human resources and other management staff and professionals on difficult issues concerning benefits, compensation or information reporting. Provides guidance and assistance to the Regional Human Resources Representatives, managers, and employees, on various employee benefit plans and issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge required
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in benefits, compensation and HRIS
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive Human Resources experience with a minimum of 3 years in management
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Presentation Software
  • Advanced knowledge of HR Database programs
  • Advanced report writing skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a strategic/creative thinker and be results oriented
  • Consultative business partner skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach and direct others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must possess knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit and compensation programs, and HR in general, with the ability to interpret and advise on laws.
