Overview

Canon Business Process Services is seeking a market-driven Director, Product Marketing to lead the evolution and growth of our strategic service areas. This role sits at the intersection of market need, solution strategy, subject matter expertise, and revenue growth. This position will identify opportunities in the marketplace, shape service line roadmaps, build and manage strategic partnerships that support or complement our offerings, and translate complex solutions into compelling content that supports both marketing programs and the sales organization. This is a highly visible role that influences go-to-market strategy, thought leadership, and solution development. The successful candidate will provide a clear vision of the future and deep understanding of the past to help reinvent convention, align our value propositions with customer buying trends, and ultimately delight our clients.

Responsibilities

Market & Service Line Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, buyer challenges, and competitive positioning to identify new service opportunities and enhancements.
  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts and operations leaders to define, refine, and evolve strategic service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain service line roadmaps aligned to market demand, growth priorities, and company strategy.
  • Ensure offerings are clearly defined, differentiated, and positioned for revenue growth.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic vendor and technology partnerships that enhance service capabilities.
  • Manage existing partnerships to ensure performance, alignment, and mutual growth.
  • Support joint go-to-market initiatives with partners, including campaigns, events, and solution positioning.
  • Collaborate with sales to incorporate partner-enabled solutions into client opportunities and RFP responses.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Own content strategy for high growth service areas.
    • Develop high-impact materials that translate complex services into clear client value, including: white papers, case studies, fact sheets, and sales enablement materials
    • Serve as a visible thought leader by hosting LinkedIn Live sessions, participating in webcasts and webinars and contributing to industry-focused content programs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the bridge between marketing, operations, subject matter experts, and business development.
  • Translate operational capabilities into market-ready solutions.
  • Provide input into packaging and solution evolution.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, solution management, consulting, or strategic marketing in a services environment.
  • Experience working with complex B2B service offerings (BPO, logistics, workplace services, digital transformation, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical or operational subject matter experts and translate expertise into market-facing solutions.
  • Experience managing vendor or technology partnerships.
  • Strong content development and storytelling capabilities.
  • Comfortable presenting publicly and hosting live virtual events.
  • Highly collaborative with strong business acumen and market awareness.
